Pickled Fish Salad

Ingredients:

4x200g tuna steaks
4 large onions, chopped
100ml golden sultanas or raisins
15ml curry powder
10ml turmeric
10ml apple cider vinegar
10ml sugar or sweetener
45ml olive oil salt and pepper
2 red chillies

Method:

1. Combine the tuna, 15ml of oil and curry powder in a ziploc bag. Allow to marinade.

2. In the meantime, put the other 15ml oil to a pan with the curry powder. Add the onions and saute until they become soft.

3. Add in the vinegar, sultanas and sugar/sweetener. Cook for five minutes. Keep the onion until needed.

4. After cleaning your pan, place the marinated tuna in the hot pan and cook to your liking. Season with salt and pepper.

5. To serve, place some lettuce leaves in a plate, and place the tuna steak on top. Add a dollop of yogurt, some of the onion relish and fresh coriander on top.
